John Miles
has 26 years experience as a fire protection engineer, including design and construction administration of fire protection systems, flammable and combustible liquids storage and use systems, building fire safety evaluations, and forensic investigations. Miles is licensed in Fire Protection and Civil Engineering disciplines by NCEES examination in 14 states, and holds member grade in the Society of Fire Protection Engineers.
Miles was chief engineer for the SC State Fire Marshal for 10 years, where he was responsible for comprehensive plan review and inspection of thousands of buildings and fire protection systems. Miles has comprehensive knowledge and experience in the application of NFPA fire protection system design and installation standards, as well as other building fire safety provisions of the NFPA and ICC Codes. |
